Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide Tier 1 troubleshooting and operational support for editorial suites, story/review rooms, theater, and audio suites.
  • •Diagnose first-line issues across Avid Media Composer/Pro Tools, Autodesk RV and related review tools, Q-SYS-controlled systems, and playback/operator workstations.
  • •Set up, operate, and tear down for internal/external screenings, dailies, production reviews, and Q&A events; operate Xenon projectors and Q-SYS-based automation.
  • •Ensure correct color space/dynamic range/format for screenings (e.g., SDR vs HDR; Rec.709 vs P3) and flag mismatches.
  • •Perform regular room/system health checks, log issues and resolutions, maintain room configuration/SOP documentation, and escalate complex problems with logs and reproducible steps.

Key Requirements

  • •2-3 years of experience in AV, post production, broadcast, or VFX/animation environments, with hands-on support of theaters, edit suites, or review spaces.
  • •Strong familiarity with animation/VFX post-production workflows (editorial, reviews, dailies, deliveries).
  • •Working knowledge of Xenon digital cinema projectors, Q-SYS (or similar) room automation/DSP, and Avid Media Composer and Avid Pro Tools in a shared/networked environment.
