Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead logistics procurement project management for Japan and Korea, formulating and executing regional procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • •Manage the supplier lifecycle: sourcing, evaluation, onboarding, performance management, phase-out, and continuous optimization of the regional supplier pool.
  • •Run commercial negotiations including price negotiation, contract term design, and contract performance management for key procurement projects.
  • •Identify cost reduction and efficiency opportunities through market research, category analysis, and data analysis, continuously optimizing procurement costs.
  • •Monitor market environment changes, supply chain risks, and policy compliance requirements; improve procurement rules and contract terms and establish risk identification and response mechanisms.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in supply chain management, international trade, logistics, business administration, or related fields.
  • •Proficiency in both Japanese and English for work communication with local logistics partners.
  • •At least 5 years of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain, or strategic sourcing, with preferred Japan or Korea market procurement experience.
  • •Familiarity with the full procurement process, including demand management, sourcing, tendering/purchasing, commercial negotiation, contract management, and supplier management.
  • •Strong market insight, data analysis, project management, cross-functional communication, and risk/compliance awareness.
