Job Summary

Lead maintenance execution for the Highland Valley Copper mobile fleet and maintenance facilities, reporting to the Manager Mine. You will drive safe and environmentally compliant work systems, sponsor courageous safety leadership, and ensure predictive and preventative maintenance maximizes equipment availability and reliability. Manage maintenance team career development, coordinate urgent/unplanned work within planning limits, and collaborate with Mine Operations and planning teams to meet site production targets while overseeing departmental budgets and variances.

•Support career development for Mine Maintenance team members and manage emerging maintenance work within Integrated Plan limits.
•Maintain production capability through long-range planning, preventative maintenance programs, and solutions to critical maintenance problems, collaborating with Mine Operations and planning teams and overseeing departmental budgets.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 164,000 - 202,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Extensive knowledge of mining practices, equipment capabilities, and mechanical/electrical maintenance principles, including budgeting/costing and maintenance planning systems.
•BSc. in Engineering or technical accreditation aligned with the role.
•Minimum 10 years of progressively senior experience, preferably in a unionized environment.
•Proven leadership and supervisory skills.
•Advanced analytical problem-solving, strong communication, and a proven ability to work in a team environment while adapting to fast-paced priorities.
