Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure all complaints in the repair order are complete as per manufacturer’s standard; report issues to the Technician/Team leader and do not sign off when standards aren’t met.
  • •Check road worthiness via road testing and visual inspection on the ramp, and certify the vehicle is fit for delivery to the customer.
  • •Ensure vehicles are parked in the appropriate place after road test and inspection.
  • •Return or store unused parts properly, dispose used parts in an environment-friendly manner, and securely keep removed/replaced old parts inside the boot without staining the interior.
  • •Adhere to health, safety and environment regulations, follow speed limits where applicable, and work extra hours if needed to complete the job for customer satisfaction.

Key Requirements

  • •3 to 4 years experience as a technician (if diploma holder) with a valid driving license, or 5 to 7 years as a technician if ITI holder.
  • •Industrial Technical Institute (ITI) 2-year vocational course—Certified Auto Technician Course, and/or Diploma in Automotive Engineering.
  • •Should have completed Level-2 (JLR) or Specialized Technician level (Ford) or an equivalent level.
  • •Additional technical skills, if any, are an additional advantage.
