Key Responsibilities

  • •Define Etihad’s material aesthetic and tactile direction for the guest experience across touchpoints.
  • •Lead material innovation by identifying opportunities and developing strategic CMF directions.
  • •Direct CMF concepts for soft products and hard products, including onboard amenities and support for new aircraft seat and cabin and architectural environments.
  • •Lead material and product development with internal partners and external suppliers for production, including new products and upgrades/replacements.
  • •Create and maintain CMF governing documentation and an on-site/digital material asset library, including supplier relationship management and supplier visits.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Design (Industrial, Interior, Transportation, Textile, Graphic) with specialized experience in Colour, Material, Finish design.
  • •7 years of experience in CMF design in a consultancy or in-house capacity, ideally in aviation, automotive, hospitality, or guest-experience-driven industries.
  • •Aviation material development knowledge.
  • •Expert storytelling and concept articulation with strong visual, written, and verbal presentation skills.
  • •Ability to lead as a subject matter expert and command respect as the CMF specialist.
