Key Responsibilities

  • •Obtain and expand knowledge base for civil and building matters and QS matters related to specific projects.
  • •Administer subcontractors and follow company procedures; coordinate with site and technical teams to collect progress details.
  • •Manage client site instructions and variation orders, including documentation, justification, and backup materials for interim valuations.
  • •Prepare and submit monthly cost value reconciliations, cost-to-complete reports, and profitability projections within one week of valuation submission.
  • •Ensure timely submission of payment applications, include subcontractor inputs into KCT applications, and value payment certificates appropriately while coordinating tender/package preparation and back-to-back variation processes.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering, plus a professional qualification in Quantity Surveying (or related field).
  • •Minimum 8 years working experience, including 5 years relevant quantity surveying experience (2 years GCC experience is a plus).
  • •Experience administering subcontractors and managing contractual/commercial support, including letters, client instructions, and variation orders.
  • •Strong skills in computer-based quantification systems (e.g., CCS/Candy) and preparation of Bills of Quantities using standard method of measurement and principles of measurement (e.g., NRM2, CESSMMIII, QSSM/QCS).
  • •Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and AutoCAD for quantity takeoff; ERP knowledge with SAP functional skills preferred/required to succeed.
