Key Responsibilities

  • •Meet sales and service goals by profiling customers, building strong relationships, using sales/customer service software, and participating in sales campaigns.
  • •Accurately open, close, and maintain customer accounts according to policies and procedures, including understanding material from Personal Banker training manuals.
  • •Use knowledge of Old Second products and services to advise customers on banking options and begin applying knowledge to more complex retail products like IRAs and loans.
  • •Provide cross-trained teller support as needed by handling basic transactions (e.g., cashing checks, deposits/withdrawals) and balancing the drawer.
  • •Maintain operational accuracy and compliance across records and processes including BSA/Fraud/CTR’s, CIP, and related documentation.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 18.1 - 29 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (or equivalent) and one year of related experience (banking, cash handling, customer service and/or sales), or equivalent education/experience (Level 1).
  • •Two years of related experience (banking, cash handling, customer service and/or sales), or equivalent education/experience (Level 2).
  • •Three or more years of related experience including some banking and/or sales, client relationship management, consultancy experience, or cash handling, or equivalent education/experience (Level 3).
  • •Must become licensed with NMLS registration within 60 days of assuming the role and meet bank training requirements.
  • •Complete the Universal (Relationship) Banker Cross Training Development Plan curriculum (or equivalent experience).
