Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and implement algorithms for medical image processing including segmentation, detection, registration, and enhancement.
  • •Develop and optimize 2D/3D visualization methods such as volume rendering, surface rendering, and multi-planar reconstruction (MPR).
  • •Build AI/ML models for medical imaging applications, ensuring accuracy, robustness, and generalization.
  • •Optimize algorithm performance for real-time or near-real-time processing using GPU acceleration and parallel computing.
  • •Integrate algorithms into production systems and troubleshoot issues related to algorithms, data inconsistencies, and performance bottlenecks.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Graphics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
  • •10+ years of experience in algorithm development focused on image processing, computer vision, or medical imaging.
  • •Strong programming skills in C++ and/or Python.
  • •Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and/or TensorFlow.
  • •Experience with medical imaging formats/toolkits (e.g., DICOM, ITK, VTK) and 2D/3D visualization techniques (e.g., volume rendering, MPR).
