Key Responsibilities

  • •Specify and design functional industrial hardware for a high-voltage test bench, including AC/DC power supplies, dynamic load banks, switching matrices, energy storage systems, and safety-relevant systems.
  • •Design and specify high-bandwidth isolated DAQ hardware, sensors, and conditioning modules for high EMI, high-voltage and high-current measurements.
  • •Draft purchaser technical specifications for test bench industrial electrical systems, evaluate supplier technical proposals, and steer supplier milestones and deliverables.
  • •Support installation, verification, commissioning, and functional validation of industrial power equipment and system interfaces, including test campaign data work, root cause analysis, and problem management.
  • •Support electrical safety and operations by contributing to electrical perimeter risk analysis, required documentation, and operational procedure definition to comply with safety standards and regulations.

Key Requirements

  • •5 to 10 years of hands-on high-power electrical engineering experience, including industrial electrical equipment specification and electrical bench/system integration in aerospace, energy, or electric transportation.
  • •Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
  • •Deep technical expertise in high-power equipment up to the 1MW class (e.g., programmable AC/DC power sources, electronic loads, switching matrices, power converters, power measurement instrumentation).
  • •Hands-on experience steering suppliers through manufacturing and acceptance phases, including drafting purchaser technical specifications and evaluating vendor proposals.
  • •Fluent English; Spanish is considered a plus.
