Job Summary

Join AECOM’s Southeast Transportation team as Drainage Engineers and Designers working on large Design/Build and Alternative Delivery projects. You’ll contribute to highway drainage design, stormwater quantity control, and hydrology analyses, collaborate on mega-projects, and use Bentley Microstation/Open Roads to deliver robust civil infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and engineer drainage systems for highway projects, including storm drain design, cross culvert analysis, hydrology, ditch design, and bridge deck drainage.
•Prepare and review CAD drawings and models using Bentley Microstation and Open Roads for large Design/Build or alternative delivery projects.
•Collaborate with project teams, clients, and local DOTs to ensure compliant and timely drainage solutions.
•Analyze site data, prepare drainage reports, and support the development of project deliverables across multiple levels (junior to senior).
•Contribute to project planning and coordination efforts to support mega-projects and transportation programs.

Key Requirements

•BS in Engineering + 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience (Junior Level Engineers)
•BS in Engineering + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience (Mid-Level Engineers)
•BS in Engineering + 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience (Senior Level Engineers / Task Leads)
•EIT Certification or PE License (Preferred Qualifications)
•BS Degree or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience (CAD Designers)
