Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform teller functions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, check cashing, savings bonds, cashier’s checks, and cashier’s/negotiable-item processing.
  • •Process transfers between accounts, sell traveler’s checks/official checks/money orders, and process credit card cash advances.
  • •Verify and balance cash daily, detect and resolve discrepancies, and follow teller procedures and compliance requirements.
  • •Provide courteous customer service by promptly resolving client requests and inquiries, maintaining customer privacy, and ensuring the bank’s quality reputation.
  • •Cross-sell bank products and services, operate the online teller terminal, and complete required reports/records while supporting coordination and training needs.

Key Requirements

  • •High school graduate or equivalent.
  • •At least one year of related experience/cash handling required.
  • •Previous Teller experience preferred.
  • •Understanding of bank operations preferred.
  • •Good communication skills; good math and typing skills, and ability to operate related computer applications and business equipment (e.g., adding machine, typewriter, copy machine, coin/money counting machines, telephone).
