Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver in-person and remote ground instruction in accordance with CAE training standards and regulatory requirements.
  • •Facilitate learning activities to help JAL cadets achieve course objectives and training milestones.
  • •Promote professional conduct and a strong safety culture during all instructional activities.
  • •Monitor cadet progress and promptly identify performance concerns or training delays.
  • •Maintain accurate training records, examination documentation, and other administrative requirements, including reinforcing SMS principles.

Key Requirements

  • •Current FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) certification, or Advanced Ground Instructor (AGI) and Instrument Ground Instructor (IGI) ratings.
  • •Clean aviation record with no aviation accident or regulatory violation convictions.
  • •Ability to communicate effectively in a professional training environment.
  • •Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook; must be fluent in English and legally authorized to work in the United States.
