Job Summary

Provide L3 middleware hosting support and act as a subject-matter expert for WebSphere ND, IBM Liberty, Oracle WebLogic, Tomcat, Apache/HTTP Server, Oracle HTTP Server, NGINX, and Node.js. Build and maintain middleware infrastructure, keep environments patched, troubleshoot and resolve incidents using root-cause analysis, and assist with load balancing/firewall setups. Create automation and complex project plans, define hardware needs, and communicate technical guidance to lower-level analysts.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as L3 support for middleware hosting, troubleshooting issues and restoring services
•Act as SME to stakeholders and/or team members, providing technical/strategic direction and documentation
•Build middleware infrastructure using Citi automation tools and maintain connectivity between application and web servers
•Manage patch levels and assist with major incident resolution, including root-cause analysis post restoration
•Design testing approaches, create automation for repetitive tasks, and develop metrics/analytical tools and benchmarking best practices

Key Requirements

•6+ years’ experience delivering infrastructure technologies with a track record of operational process change and improvement
•Experience with at least 2 application servers: IBM WebSphere ND, IBM Liberty, Oracle WebLogic, or Tomcat
•Experience with at least 2 web servers: IBM HTTP Server, Oracle HTTP Server, NGINX, or Apache
•Good knowledge of Linux/Unix and strong troubleshooting skills
•Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences and work independently while coordinating with teams
