Job Summary

Supervise the setup and operation of a rolling mill to produce billets, bars, and coils. Lead and monitor production performance, product quality, and crew performance, while driving continuous improvement across yield, wreck rate, dimensional tolerances, and surface quality of hot-rolled product. Assist with developing setup parameters for new products and apply manufacturing principles and ERP (preferably SAP) knowledge to improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

•Direct the setup and operation of a rolling mill to produce finished billets, bars, and coils.
•Supervise and control rolling mill production performance and product quality.
•Continuously improve yield, wreck rate, dimensional tolerances, and surface quality for hot-rolled products.
•Assist in developing setup parameters for new products.
•Strive to continuously improve overall performance of the crew.

Key Requirements

•Minimum two years supervisory experience in a manufacturing/operational environment (or equivalent experience).
•Apply management expertise to improve efficiency and achieve operational objectives within your area of responsibility.
•Use a practical understanding of industrial/manufacturing principles, standards, methods, and practices.
•ERP knowledge, preferably SAP functional skills, to be successful in the role.
•College level in a related field or relevant technical certificates.
