Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and manage the Quest Design team to meet project objectives, quality standards, and production milestones.
  • •Align quest design execution with project goals, timelines, and quality expectations.
  • •Collaborate with quest, narrative, level design teams, and other departments to craft cohesive game experiences for locations, characters, content, and plots.
  • •Act as primary point of contact for Quest Design on the project, communicating status, risks, and needs to senior leadership.
  • •Design and implement functional quests, develop team pipelines and processes with Quest and Narrative Designers and Engineers, and provide regular feedback, coaching, and performance management.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven professional Game Designer experience with significant quest design experience and at least one shipped title in a senior or lead capacity.
  • •Experience managing schedules, priorities, and delivering against production timelines.
  • •Ability to design and implement functional quests with experience using game design tools and technical game design.
  • •Strong written and verbal skills to pitch game design concepts clearly and in detail.
  • •Strong organizational skills and a proven track record of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
