Key Responsibilities

  • •Transport goods and freight between locations using a truck or tractor-trailer, ensuring safe operations and on-time pickups and deliveries.
  • •Complete pre/post-trip inspections, inspect loads for proper securement, and manage cargo securement and load distribution.
  • •Review Bills of Lading for accuracy, plan routes, breaks, and deliveries, and submit daily trip sheets and weekly documentation.
  • •Use onboard TMS systems and complete electronic DVIR via ELD; comply with traffic laws and FMCSR hours-of-service rules.
  • •Coordinate with dispatch, safety, and maintenance after incidents or when repairs are needed, and support warehouse functions as assigned.

Key Requirements

  • •Valid Class A CDL and physical qualifications under 391.41 DOT regulations.
  • •1 year of verifiable comparable driving experience, including pulling 53ft trailers.
  • •Ability to complete pre/post-trip inspections and complete monthly Near Miss documentation.
  • •Proficiency with standard English reading and basic math for material calculations.
  • •Ability to sit for long periods and safely operate powered equipment when certified at each facility.
