Job Summary

Develop advanced, data-driven models and analytics to improve the safety, reliability, and efficiency of mission-critical systems. Build and evaluate AI/ML solutions for defense, aerospace, and other high-stakes environments, partnering with engineers and domain experts to deliver proofs of concept, prototypes, and demonstrators. Apply strong scientific-method rigor across the research lifecycle, including Generative AI/LLM workflows (agentic and otherwise) and communicate results through publications and technical reporting.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop data-driven models and analytics to improve mission-critical system safety, reliability, and efficiency.
•Support design, testing, and operation of systems used in defense, aerospace, and other high-stakes environments.
•Collaborate with engineers, software developers, and domain experts to apply data analytics and machine learning under regulatory standards.
•Implement proofs of concept and evolve them through prototypes and demonstrators to show business potential.
•Deliver high-quality research outputs using a scientific-method approach and communicate results via publications, patents, or technical reports.

Key Requirements

•MSc in engineering, computer science, applied mathematics, or statistics in a related data science field.
•Proficiency in Python, R, or similar for data processing, cleaning, and analysis.
•Strong understanding of machine learning (supervised/unsupervised, deep learning, anomaly detection, time series).
•Experience training/testing/evaluating AI/ML models across domains such as vision, text, and structured data.
•Demonstrated experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI workflows (including agentic AI).
