Key Responsibilities

  • •Performs field inspections according to RIDOT Bridge Inspection Manual and the FHWA National Bridge Inspection Standards
  • •Supervises Team Members as well as access and equipment vendors
  • •Work at heights, on ladders, on scaffolding and on aerial lifts, or other bridge inspection access equipment
  • •Work in confined spaces, work adjacent to live traffic, work in or around water and work under adverse weather conditions
  • •Prepares inspection reports and performs quality control reviews of work developed by others

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering or similar discipline plus six years of experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • •Experience as a Team Leader / Supervisor of bridge inspectors
  • •Professional Engineering (P.E.) License in the State of Rhode Island
  • •Valid US Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices
  • •As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review
