Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers to deliver projects on time, within scope, and to agreed quality standards.
  • •Operate as the technical bridge between Product, Delivery, Engineering, and Platform Operations, driving collaboration across the software delivery lifecycle.
  • •Establish and govern processes, platforms, and automation for software delivery, including transforming source code into deployable, configured environments.
  • •Design and deliver container orchestration solutions and automation for application and infrastructure delivery; manage BAU support including change and incident management.
  • •Ensure security is considered early, design and document architectures, and lead technical discussions with stakeholders and external engagements.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of experience in a similar software development leadership role, delivering complex technology initiatives.
  • •Ability to lead, mentor, and develop software engineers while meeting timelines, scope, and quality standards.
  • •Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD tooling and principles, including continuous integration and automation of deployments.
  • •Experience with infrastructure as code frameworks such as Terraform and Ansible, plus configuration and source code control practices.
  • •Confidence with at least one cloud platform and Linux-based environments (RHEL preferred), containerisation and orchestration, and object-oriented languages such as Java or .NET.
