Join the legal team as the first paralegal at a high-growth health-tech company, embedded alongside two attorneys. You’ll draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts (SaaS, NDAs, BAAs, vendor and partnership agreements), manage deal flow and contract lifecycle workflows, and maintain the contract repository using tools like SpotDraft, DocuSign, and Salesforce. You’ll also build scalable legal resources and support compliance monitoring, including HIPAA-related obligations.

Key Responsibilities

•Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including SaaS subscription agreements, order forms, BAAs, NDAs, vendor agreements, and partnership agreements.
•Serve as first point of escalation for routine contracting questions from Sales and Business Development, routing complex or novel issues to attorneys.
•Maintain and organize the contract repository across SpotDraft, DocuSign, and Salesforce, managing contract workflows and tracking active obligations.
•Support procurement by maintaining visibility into vendor agreements and compliance requirements.
•Build internal legal resources (templates, playbooks, guides, FAQs) and help maintain compliance tracking materials including audit documentation.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 95,000 - 115,000 annually

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience as a paralegal or contracts specialist in an in-house legal department or law firm, ideally supporting a technology or healthcare company.
•Hands-on experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts (SaaS, technology, or services agreements).
•Strong organizational skills to manage multiple concurrent workstreams with minimal supervision.
•Excellent legal writing skills for contract markup and clear internal documents and guidelines.
•Familiarity with contract lifecycle management tools (e.g., SpotDraft, Ironclad, Agiloft) or demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly.
