Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and develop a multi-layered organization of managers, supervisors, and technicians for reliable building and grounds maintenance with minimal disruption.
  • •Set facilities maintenance strategy, CapEx/OpEx budgeting, and resource forecasting; drive safety culture and work quality.
  • •Own campus work-order and preventive maintenance programs, including ticketing, staffing, response times, backlog, and closeout for break/fix and scheduled work.
  • •Oversee maintenance of building systems—HVAC, plumbing, electrical and transformers, fire/life safety, and general repairs—to keep facilities safe, functional, and presentable.
  • •Own soft services across the campus (janitorial, landscaping, waste, pest control), manage third-party vendors to standards/SLAs, and provide emergency/on-call coverage for building emergencies.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering, facilities management, architecture, construction management, business, or a related field.
  • •8+ years of progressive experience in facilities maintenance or building operations in offices, industrial, or campus environments, including 3+ years leading supervisors or managers.
  • •Experience leading teams responsible for work orders, preventive maintenance, building systems, and vendor-delivered soft services.
  • •Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and resource planning across multiple buildings and facilities.
  • •Experience with CMMS/work-order systems and building management systems for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire/life safety, and related equipment.
