Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Physics.
  • •5+ years of experience designing turbomachinery, with expertise in areas such as compressor/turbine aerodynamics, rotordynamics and bearings, secondary flows and axial thrust, mechanical seals, or turbomachinery sizing and mechanical design.
  • •Experience with turbomachinery structural and life analysis, and making engineering tradeoffs involving performance, manufacturability, cost, and schedule.
  • •Ability to communicate technical information clearly and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.
  • •Demonstrated problem-solving skills with enthusiasm for optimizing modern nuclear design and operation.
