Oversee and coordinate maintenance activities to keep plant equipment running continuously. Supervise workers handling electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair, including diagnosing malfunctions and observing equipment performance. Plan preventative maintenance schedules, estimate labor hours based on production schedules, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and recommend improvements to production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.

Key Responsibilities

•Supervise and coordinate workers’ activities for setup, installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment, tools, and machinery.
•Direct electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair work for machinery and equipment.
•Assist in diagnosing malfunctions and observing mechanical devices to identify causes of trouble.
•Review production schedules and estimate worker hour requirements for job assignments.
•Plan and implement routine and preventative maintenance schedules and assign/monitor personnel.

Key Requirements

•Associate’s degree or equivalent training/education, or 5+ years of experience as a maintenance supervisor (or an equivalent combination).
•Ability to maintain and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic control equipment in an industrial manufacturing environment.
•Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, process sheets, and assembly schematic drawings.
