Job Summary

Join a legal team at Juro as a UK-based, fully remote Legal Counsel. You’ll own the commercial contract system, negotiate deals directly with counterparties, and shape templates, playbooks, and AI-assisted review to scale our legal function. You’ll partner with the GC on higher-risk judgements and contribute to corporate, governance, employment, and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

•Own the system for commercial contracts, including templates, thresholds, and AI triage.
•Negotiate deals that genuinely need a lawyer, directly with the other side, with accountability for decisions.
•Refine templates and playbooks, supervise AI review, and fix repeat questions at the source.
•Build and improve automation and training materials to scale the legal function.
•Escalate only where risk warrants to the GC and contribute to company-level work (corporate, governance, employment, strategic projects).

Key Requirements

•You are a solicitor qualified in England & Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland with a current practising certificate.
•Approximately 2-4 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE).
•Experience negotiating commercial contracts in tech directly with counterparties, end-to-end.
•Experience in commercial, tech, IP, data protection or AI work.
•Experience building playbooks, templates, automation, or training to improve processes.
