Key Responsibilities

  • •Shoot, write, and edit news stories daily for station newscasts, recorded programs, and live broadcasts.
  • •Work with news producers on story ideas and development, and present completed stories that are accurate and journalistically sound.
  • •Report live during newscasts and breaking news, either in studio or in the field.
  • •Coordinate, organize, conduct, and video-record interviews.
  • •Develop ongoing “sweeps” and “special series” stories and represent Telemundo at community events to build story leads.

Key Requirements

  • •BA or BS in Journalism or related field.
  • •At least two years reporting, shooting, writing, and video-editing experience.
  • •Completely fluent in Spanish (speak, read & write) and able to write and communicate in Spanish.

  • •Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States and provide a driver’s license (portfolio/demo reel required if available).
