Key Responsibilities

  • •Demonstrate, instruct, and guide physical training, exercises, movements, and injury avoidance.
  • •Design, administer, evaluate, and document evidence-based physical training protocols for SOF personnel across garrison, TDY/TAD, or deployed settings under supervision.
  • •Oversee individualized and group training programs and coordinate with HP staff to enable safe, expeditious return to training after injury.
  • •Refer personnel with apparent new or undiagnosed medical conditions to a medical provider for evaluation and treatment.
  • •Develop and support facility standard operating procedures, guidelines, and training protocols, and ensure equipment/facilities are cleaned, organized, and safe.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in an accredited exercise science, health science, or physical education-related discipline, and maintain current NSCA certification (CSCS or SCCC through CSCCA).
  • •Minimum 2+ years of experience as a strength and conditioning coach with individual and group athletes (e.g., collegiate Division I, Olympic, professional sports, USAF CRAFT/SWTW, or SOF operators).
  • •Current basic CPR certification including AED training.
  • •Physically proficient to demonstrate prescribed exercises/techniques and meet SOF training demands, including hiking over rough terrain and functioning in austere environments.
  • •Secret or Top-Secret clearance, or the ability to obtain clearance.
