Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the Day Clinic Manager to ensure a safe and positive client experience by mitigating clinical risks and meeting clinical quality standards.
  • •Provide direct patient care and co-ordinate care delivery.
  • •Manage the client experience.
  • •Empower and build staff competence through continuous assessment and development, including mentorship for new and student nurses.
  • •Ensure optimal supply, retention, and utilization of staffing resources and assist with effective management of operational expenses (including stock and capital).

Key Requirements

  • •Professional Nurse qualification and post-basic management and /or peri-operative theatre experience or training completed.
  • •3 years’ Professional Nurse experience in a hospital.
  • •1 year mentor experience.
  • •Experience in ensuring safe patient care by mitigating clinical risks and meeting clinical quality standards.
  • •Computer literate (Microsoft Office) and knowledgeable in relevant nursing legislation, infection prevention and control, and nursing record keeping.
