Key Responsibilities

  • •Regularly inspect facility operations to ensure safe job practices, PPE use, and machine/process guards are in place and operational.
  • •Investigate accidents and near-misses to identify trends and causes and ensure corrective measures are implemented.
  • •Develop safety programs and incentives with management and chair the Safety Committee.
  • •Conduct new-hire training and provide employee training on safe operation of machinery and equipment.
  • •Maintain OSHA 300 logs and prepare regular and special required reports.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum high school graduate.
  • •Two to four years of experience in safety or woodworking operations.
  • •Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • •Certification in First Aid and CPR, with working knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations.
  • •Successful completion of OSHA 10 certification.
