Key Responsibilities

  • •Own larger portions of security installation and break/fix incidents (low to medium complexity) during the project lifecycle.
  • •Take responsibility for problem resolution and troubleshooting during project lifecycle, escalating complex problems to third parties.
  • •Configure and manage security controls including SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR/NDR, UTM, proxy, SOAR, and related security tools.
  • •Assist with documentation of standard operating procedures for installations and fixes during ops handover; compile and maintain project administration (time capture and feedback).
  • •Conduct elementary presentations within the customer’s organization and take leadership from senior resources on specialized technologies.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Information Technology or Computing or a related field.
  • •Vendor certification is mandatory (examples listed include Azure Certified Security Engineer, PCNSA, FCA, CCNA Security).
  • •Moderate experience in SOC analysis operations and security incident handling end to end.
  • •Moderate experience using SIEM and security technologies such as Firewall, IPS/IDS, Proxy, and similar controls.
  • •Moderate experience with technical support to clients and configuring/managing security tools (SIEM, EDR, NDR, UTM, SOAR, honeypots, decoys).
