Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Training Development Specialist to plan, design, create, edit, and review courseware content for simulated training defences systems. You’ll develop courses in manuals, eLearning, video content and distance learning; act as SME for products; ensure quality through reviews and QA; deliver training to internal teams and customers; and drive continuous improvement while coordinating with management on schedules and milestones.

Key Responsibilities

•Learn complex training and simulation concepts to generate content that is clear, concise and aligned with the Engineering/Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) guidelines.
•Plan, design and create new courses in various learning content formats, including conventional manuals, eLearning modules, video-based content, and distance learning.
•Manage course updates and new courses development as individual projects, ensuring deadlines, milestones and project objectives are met.
•Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for specific products or solutions to support team members, while also leveraging their expertise.
•Deliver training to internal teams and customers, including conducting “train the trainer” sessions as required.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Programming or a related field.
•Minimum 3 years of experience in courseware development, including instructional design and content creation.
•Experience in instructor-led training delivery is considered an asset.
•Proficiency in XML Structured Data, the use of XML Schemas and experience using XML in an authoring environment.
•Exceptional technical writing skills, with a strong command of English grammar and the ability to create clear, precise and engaging content.
