Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive a mechanics truck to various job sites and plants to repair machinery and equipment.
  • •Troubleshoot and maintain heavy equipment, including forklifts and ready mix trucks.
  • •Examine equipment damage or malfunctions and discuss the nature and extent with the Shop Foreperson.
  • •Repair or replace mechanical and electrical components (e.g., engines, transmissions, drums, seals, hydraulic pumps, electric motors, valves) and rewire ignition systems, lights, and the instrument panel.
  • •Ensure proper fluid and oil containment/disposal, keep tools/trucks/work areas clean and safe, and follow safety and company policies.

Key Requirements

  • •Provide your own basic hand tools and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
