Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as a key communications point for research teams, receiving and resolving queries through to resolution.
  • •Proactively manage communications with project teams across the consortium for data collection, keeping others up to date as appropriate.
  • •Enter data accurately into research and administrative databases, including non-routine/ad-hoc data under guidance.
  • •Perform regular checks to validate and verify information, resolve missing/incomplete/contradictory data, and produce reports and lists.
  • •Develop and document standard operating procedures, test data entry/validation/report generation applications, and support administrative tasks as required.

Key Requirements

  • •Educated to A Level standard (or equivalent Level 3, e.g., Level 3 NVQ or national diploma) or relevant work experience demonstrating ability to undertake the role.
  • •GCSEs to grade C/4 in English and Mathematics (or equivalent Level 2 qualification).
  • •Experience of medical data coding, data entry, and data validation techniques, including querying and maintaining computer databases.
  • •Critical attention to detail with high standards of accuracy.
  • •Excellent organisational skills to work independently, prioritise workload, and meet agreed deadlines.
