Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, run, and analyze performance workloads and system benchmarks for release qualifications and R&D.
  • •Investigate production performance issues and work with systems and application developers to deliver performance fixes.
  • •Prototype and evaluate system performance and scalability improvements across efficiency, concurrency control, and memory management.
  • •Profile the database engine (C code) and storage service (Java code).
  • •Collaborate on telemetry, dashboards, and analysis facilities for performance management of the production fleet.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong CS fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and system design.
  • •Strong coding skills in Java or C/C++.
  • •Proficiency in SQL database programming.
