Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate and manage import/export customs clearance activities and resolve holds, queries, and inspections promptly.
  • •Prepare, verify, and submit trade documents including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, import permits, and customs declarations.
  • •Support export control and strategic goods compliance, liaising with Logistics Manager and Compliance team.
  • •Review and validate duty and tariff calculations, including HS codes and valuation methods, and flag discrepancies to Finance.
  • •Ensure dangerous goods and dual-use items are correctly classified, packaged, labelled, and documented in line with IATA DGR and UAE regulations.

Key Requirements

  • •6-8 years of experience in customs operations, trade compliance, or logistics within a regulated import/export environment.
  • •Hands-on experience with export control frameworks including ITAR and UAE Strategic Goods.
  • •Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field.
  • •Experience coordinating import/export customs clearance with brokers, freight forwarders, and government authorities.
  • •Professional certification preferred: FIATA (or equivalent customs and trade compliance qualification).
