Key Responsibilities

  • •Estimate and negotiate change orders throughout the construction lifecycle, producing and presenting the final cost plan.
  • •Review and collaborate with design services and the general contractor to develop cost estimates; reconcile changes and validate contractor data.
  • •Coordinate sources of cost information (contractor pricing, supplier quotes, subcontractor proposals, and quantity data) and communicate executive summaries.
  • •Lead mechanical cost management for HVAC systems, cleanroom environments, process piping, utility infrastructure, and process cooling water systems.
  • •Manage cost checks, auditing, valuation, contingency/risk tracking, and post-contract cost variance and change control; produce monthly cost reports and support final account agreement.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, Engineering, or a related construction discipline.
  • •Minimum 5–7 years of experience in cost management, quantity surveying, estimating, or project controls within the construction industry.
  • •Experience managing mechanical scopes on medium to large-scale construction projects.
  • •Highly desirable experience with HVAC, piping, mechanical utilities, process systems, cleanrooms, and mission-critical/industrial/data center (or similar) projects.
  • •Proficiency with estimating and cost management software, including Excel and Bluebeam, plus digital quantity takeoff tools; RICS accreditation preferred.
