Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead opportunities end-to-end: identify opportunity, clarify bid, develop sales strategy, enroll align sales support, submit proposal, close, and coordinate order management, production planning, and service.
  • •Manage customer relationships for assigned accounts, work issues through the customer chain of command, and understand drivers, decision process, and key decision-makers.
  • •Forecast and build product demand and revenue for refining, petrochemical, catalysts, and adsorbents 18 months into the future to meet annual targets.
  • •Forecast and build project opportunities and revenue for technology sales and related engineering/gas processing work 18 months into the future.
  • •Maintain account plans and internal sales processes in SFDC and report market/competitor intelligence; resolve customer issues with internal resources and legal agreements.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of day-to-day operating experience with hydroprocessing, isomerization, reforming, and/or aromatics technologies in the refining and/or petrochemical industry.
  • •1+ years of selling into a competitive marketplace and achieving premium prices by communicating customer value using UOP products and services.
  • •3+ years of knowledge applying catalysts and adsorbents in refinery and petrochemical processes in the Americas.
  • •BS degree in engineering, chemical, or similar science.
  • •Fluency in English and experience using Microsoft Office and Salesforce.com (SFDC).
