Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise and follow up mechanical draftsmen work schedule, and verify mechanical shop drawings and technical submittals.
  • •Ensure discipline shop drawings are prepared in coordination with other disciplines, and meet submission schedule and target quality.
  • •Ensure shop drawings comply with local authorities, HSE requirements, and applicable standards such as QCS2014 and project specifications.
  • •Review and approve mechanical shop drawings and design calculations before submission; review and sign-off material technical submittals before issuance to consultant.
  • •Guide technical engineers/draftsmen through the work activities management process, plan responsibilities, and coordinate reviews/approvals with other technical departments; support HSE initiatives and incident reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 8 years working experience, including 5 years relevant experience, with 2 years in GCC as a plus.
  • •Prepare and maintain tracking schedules and manage the mechanical draft work schedule.
  • •Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering parameters and the construction field.
  • •Knowledge of mechanical codes and standards, including NFPA and local regulations.
  • •UPDA Certified Engineer or certification with attestation.
