Job Summary

Support Oil & Gas and Remediation projects by reviewing Health and Safety Plans (HASP), conducting hazard identification and risk assessments, and ensuring execution readiness. Coordinate safety expectations through pre-field kickoff meetings, partner with project teams to integrate safety into plans, and monitor applicable local, state, and federal regulations. Maintain safety documentation and reports, promote proactive safety culture, and analyze incidents to recommend corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform Health and Safety Plan (HASP) reviews to ensure regulatory compliance and project-specific risk mitigation.
•Support project development with hazard identification, risk assessments, and control selection.
•Lead or support pre-field kickoff meetings to align safety expectations, procedures, and mitigation strategies.
•Partner with project managers, engineers, and field personnel to integrate safety into execution strategies.
•Monitor applicable safety regulations and develop/maintain safety documentation, procedures, reports, and incident corrective actions.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related discipline and 4+ years of relevant safety, health, and environment experience for Oil & Gas or remediation projects (or equivalent education/experience).
•Pass client-specific background and drug/alcohol screening if offered.
•8+ years experience supporting Safety, Health, and Environment functions for Oil & Gas and remediation projects (preferred).
•Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, or CHST (preferred).
•Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and EPA guidelines and the ability to lead HASP development and reviews for large/complex projects (preferred).
