Key Responsibilities

•Conduct security audits and RMF control assessments for multiple government systems, applying ISSO/ISSM experience to deliver risk-focused evaluations.
•Review, validate, and enhance security artifacts such as SSPs, POA&Ms, and continuous monitoring deliverables to ensure compliance.
•Evaluate system security controls for effectiveness and alignment with DoD requirements and organizational policies.
•Collaborate with ISSOs/ISSMs and technical teams to interpret findings, recommend remediation actions, and ensure timely closure of vulnerabilities.
•Support RMF lifecycle by tracking assessments, evidence, and documentation to maintain ATO and ongoing compliance.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of related work experience in lieu of a degree
•3+ years of experience as a prior ISSO/ISSM
•IAT II certifications (Security+, SSCP, CCNA Security)
•Strong understanding of NIST SP 800-53 and DoD cybersecurity requirements
•Active Secret clearance and US citizenship
