  • •Lead engagement planning, stakeholder management, complaints and grievances, human rights risk, cultural heritage engagement, partnerships, and social investment activities.
  • •Prepare studies, analysis, and due diligence on social, economic, and community impacts related to operations and projects.
  • •Provide expert advice to operational and functional leaders to assess, manage, and minimize CSP risks and impacts.
  • •Ensure compliance with Rio Tinto CSP standards, commitments, policies, complaint and grievance mechanisms, and relevant U.S. requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in communities, social performance, stakeholder engagement, communications, public affairs, social impact, or a related field.
  • •5-10 years of experience in stakeholder management, community engagement, CSP, social impact, public affairs, or a related discipline.
  • •Strong knowledge of community engagement, social risk management, human rights considerations, and complaints and grievance processes.
  • •Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal, presentation, and relationship-building skills, including calm communication under pressure.
