Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee daily operation of HVAC equipment including chillers, VRF/VRV systems, AHUs/FAHUs/FCUs, exhaust systems, and ventilation systems.
  • •Monitor and optimize system performance via BMS by analyzing alarms, trends, and control logic; perform routine rounds and follow operating procedures to reduce energy use.
  • •Plan and execute preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance aligned with OEM guidelines, FM best practices, and ASHRAE standards; maintain maintenance history in CAFM/CMMS.
  • •Diagnose and troubleshoot breakdowns and faults (electrical, mechanical, refrigerant leaks, controls, airflow restrictions) and recommend reliability improvements.
  • •Ensure health, safety, and compliance (UAE Fire & Life Safety Code, Municipality regulations, Civil Defense approvals, Dubai Green Building Regulations/Estidama where applicable) and coordinate contractors, reporting, and FM project support.

Key Requirements

  • •3–10 years of HVAC maintenance experience, preferably in Facilities Management operations.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) or equivalent technical qualification.
  • •Strong HVAC technical knowledge including refrigeration cycles, thermodynamics, and heat transfer.
  • •Experience using BMS and understanding HVAC automation and control logic.
  • •Relevant certifications advantageous (e.g., HVAC Technician Certification, ASHRAE Membership, Chiller Operation Certification).
