Job Summary

Serve as the primary service and maintenance contact for Rental Service customers in a defined market, performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and start-ups for commercial HVAC systems. Coordinate with team leaders, customers, and partners on installation and repair needs by reviewing building layouts and gathering materials. Use modern tools and hand tools, follow engineering specifications/blueprints, and maintain safety and asset accountability while delivering customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and start-ups for HVAC systems in a commercial environment.
•Responsible for end-to-end testing, starting up, commissioning, and servicing on assigned projects.
•Serve as direct customer contact and diagnose/repair equipment and systems at customer locations or the Rental Services depot.
•Coordinate with team leaders and customers to understand on-site installation and repair requirements by examining building layouts, forecasting issues, gathering materials, and synchronizing work.
•Enforce safety standards and maintain security/accountability of company-issued and procured assets by recording use, wear, and conditions.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
•At least 2-5 years of experience in commercial HVAC, or an equivalent combination of technical school education and experience.
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency using a handheld computer (e.g., smartphone, iPad).
•EPA certification preferred (e.g., HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator, Gas Installer).
•Ability to safely and legally operate a vehicle and follow required PPE/safety standards.
