Job Summary

Champion a robust safety culture and drive safety performance onsite, with hands-on presence on the shopfloor. •Champion and sustain a proactive, adaptable safety culture across all functions while maintaining a hands-on presence onsite.
•Oversee EHS activities for the Zoeterwoude site and provide support/oversight for other Thermopatch sites in the Netherlands (Almere and Helmond).
•Develop and deliver EHS education and training to meet regulatory and business standards.
•Lead incident investigations (releases, injuries, near-misses) and implement High-Value Learnings.
•Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance and repair work on plant equipment and systems, influencing technical teams without direct reports.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental Engineering/Science, or a related field.
•3+ years of experience in an EHS/H&S role within a manufacturing environment with an EHS and ELS (Enterprise Lean System/Continuous Improvement) mindset.
•Comprehensive knowledge of EHS regulatory requirements, policies, procedures, and programs with a strong focus on the Netherlands.
•Proven experience with life safety codes, EHS rules, HAZOP, training, occupational safety and health principles, and Process Safety Management.
•Must be based in the Netherlands and authorized to work without sponsorship.
