Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Support commissioning and start-up activities on a major EPCM project, reporting to the Head of Commissioning.
  • •Work with engineers and vendors during design to align handover and commissioning activities, troubleshoot issues, and diagnose/repair faults.
  • •Participate in workshops, review P&ID hazard and model reviews, and review cause-and-effect diagrams and spare parts orders.
  • •Develop and submit commissioning record (closeout) documentation, including pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures.
  • •Supervise site commissioning activities across P&ID checking, mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, cold (dry/wet) and hot commissioning, and support operations turnover.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma or degree qualified in Chemical Engineering (or equivalent combination of qualifications and experience).
  • •Several years of supervisory experience leading people, energizing diverse teams, and driving performance with safety at the core.
  • •Appropriate commissioning/engineering experience: typically 7+ years of engineering experience with a degree, or 10+ years of relevant practical experience with a trade discipline.
  • •Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a multicultural project team.
  • •Strong organization and computer literacy (databases, spreadsheets, and engineering programs), with the ability to interpret discipline documentation and report progress against the plan.
