Key Responsibilities

  • •Generate requests for quotation and issue purchase orders for procurement of materials and equipment.
  • •Apply purchasing concepts, practices, and buying strategies using standard processes with minimal supervision.
  • •Review requisitions and evaluate vendor quotations to determine the best vendor based on price, delivery, and quality.
  • •Develop bid lists and bid packages and conduct analysis for effective material requirements planning, including surplus identification.
  • •Ensure all purchases comply with company policies/procedures and federal, state, and local laws, and follow the company Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers.
  • •Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM).
  • •2 years of experience in a purchasing/procurement environment is required (or a minimum of 10 years in purchasing/procurement in lieu of a bachelor degree).
  • •Bachelor degree in Business, Engineering, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • •Be able to travel across a broad geographic region, work non-traditional hours as needed, and carry a company-provided cell phone when required.
