Perform daily cleaning of manufacturing and general storage areas, disassembling and reassembling equipment as needed while keeping all parts with the equipment. Remove waste and place it into designated containers, minimizing water use to reduce overspray and cross contamination. Follow GMPs, PPE, safety regulations, USDA food/sanitation guidelines, and lockout/tagout procedures, while operating sanitation equipment and reporting malfunctions or hazards.

Key Responsibilities

•Clean manufacturing and general storage areas daily, disassembling/reassembling equipment and ensuring parts remain with the equipment after cleaning.
•Remove waste from designated areas and place it into appropriate containers; avoid draining prohibited materials.
•Minimize water use to control overspray and possible cross contamination, and ensure motors/electrical panels/plugs are properly covered.
•Follow GMPs, safety rules, sanitation SOPs, and USDA food/sanitary guidelines at all times.
•Operate sanitation equipment (including power washers/compactors), monitor equipment controls, and report malfunctions or potential hazards to supervisors.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 19.5 hourly

•Communicate in English (Bilingual preferred) and follow sanitation safety practices.
•Lift up to 50 lbs frequently, and stand/reach/bend and climb steps/stairs occasionally.

•Demonstrate workable knowledge of chemical usage/cleaning and proper chemical use/storage with PPE.
•Must be able to adhere to operating sanitation procedures and safety practices, including lockout/tagout.
