Job Summary

The role leads and executes control testing within a centralized 1LoD Testing function, focusing on risk-based control reviews, test design and operating effectiveness. You’ll oversee quality reviews of test workpapers, coordinate with stakeholders, monitor testing phases, and drive issue remediation. You’ll contribute to standardized testing practices across business units, enabling timely risk insights and actionable remediation while collaborating with testers and business partners.

Key Responsibilities

•Leads controls testing execution including walkthroughs, design, and operating effectiveness testing.
•Performs quality review over testing workpapers to ensure execution and documentation meet First Line of Defense Control Testing Methodology and testing quality expectations.
•Lead representative to ensure relevant stakeholders are appropriately engaged in all critical testing phases.
•Provides support to Tester(s) to ensure testing is being performed effectively and efficiently.
•Responsible for monitoring all testing phases including escalation of significant deficiencies and/or testing delays.

Key Requirements

•College or university degree is required.
•Several years of risk and control experience.
•Experience in financial services industry.
•Fund Accounting or Transfer Agency experience an advantage.
•Deep understanding of control frameworks and testing methodologies.
