Key Responsibilities

  • •Administer, maintain and support Azure subscriptions and core platform services within governance controls, including tagging, policy compliance, security posture and cost optimisation.
  • •Deploy and manage Azure compute and networking components (VMs, virtual networks, NSGs, private endpoints, load balancing) and operate Azure identity and access services.
  • •Support backup, recovery, business continuity and disaster recovery activities, including recovery testing and remediation.
  • •Use Azure Monitor and Log Analytics to manage availability, performance and capacity, and troubleshoot operational issues across Azure and Windows dependencies.
  • •Support hybrid Windows infrastructure in Azure and on-premises, perform provisioning and patching activities, and contribute to migration delivery, operational readiness and a 24x7 on-call rota as required.

Key Requirements

  • •Hands-on experience administering Microsoft Azure production environments, including subscriptions, resource groups, compute, storage, networking, monitoring and backup.
  • •Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Azure RBAC, managed identities and secure access controls.
  • •Strong PowerShell automation skills, with practical experience of Azure CLI and/or Azure PowerShell.
  • •Experience implementing infrastructure as code using Bicep and/or Terraform through Git-based deployment workflows.
  • •Experience supporting Windows Server and Active Directory services in hybrid or cloud-hosted environments.
