Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the full enterprise sales cycle from strategic prospecting through deal closure for merchants across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
  • •Identify, prioritize, and unlock high-value enterprise opportunities through focused, selective pipeline building.
  • •Build trusted relationships with C-level and senior decision-makers and develop multi-threaded engagement across buyer groups.
  • •Lead complex commercial conversations by articulating Adyen’s value across payments and business outcomes while navigating long sales cycles across stakeholders.
  • •Partner with internal teams to drive high-quality customer outcomes and represent Adyen in DACH by bringing insight on customer needs and competitive dynamics.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of full-cycle enterprise sales experience with measurable success winning and growing complex strategic accounts.
  • •Experience selling into consumer-facing industries where payments are strategically important (e.g., retail, platforms, hospitality, e-commerce, or financial services).
  • •Existing network across DACH merchants, partners, advisors, or ecosystem players.
  • •Entrepreneurial, self-directed, resilient, and able to create momentum in a competitive market.
  • •Strong prospection skills to assess account quality, focus effort selectively, and build a healthy pipeline.
