Key Responsibilities

  • •Create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals; order parts and diagnose issues using data across makes and models.
  • •Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air compressors.
  • •Troubleshoot equipment failures in the shop and at customer locations and complete repairs.
  • •Maintain complete, timely paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed; assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.

Key Requirements

  • •Own the tools applicable to the position.
  • •Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
  • •Experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, including inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
  • •Experience calculating nominal/effective tonnage and/or kW requirements and reading/knowing schematics.
  • •High school diploma; trade school certificate preferred. EPA 608 certification preferred (obtain within 6–12 months if not already).
